Black Lab Leather Goods is one maker in Chestertown, Maryland, hand-cutting and saddle-stitching wallets, belts, bags and journal covers the old way — measured twice, cut once, made to last . Work that good deserved better than a generic storefront.

We built a dark, tactile, editorial site: a gallery of the work with named signature pieces like the Chester Messenger and the Drover Satchel, an honest story, the four ways to commission — custom work, Western carving, engraving, corporate gifts — and a process walkthrough from hide selection to final burnish.

Now the site feels the way the leather does.
